INFORMATION FOR BUSINESSES

Dear Business,

Thank you for your interest in participating in the RI Latino Web Design Project. Please see the application form below and additional information.

STEP 1: APPLICATION

Complete application form above to participate in the project.

STEP 2: GATHER YOUR BUSINESS INFORMATION

Compile information regarding your business. Include photos of the products/services you want to have on the website.

STEP 3: CONNECT WITH STUDENT

Attend the connection meeting with the student. Students will be randomly assigned.

STEP 4: ESTABLISH THE WORK PROCESS

Establish with student the best way to work together during the development stage of the website. We strongly suggest minimizing in-person meetings during the process.

STEP 5: ASK FOR ASSISTANCE WHENEVER NEEDED

Inform the group of organizers if you need additional technology training in order to hold meetings with students.

STEP 6: MAINTAIN COLLABORATIVE SPIRIT

Participants are asked to maintain a collaborative spirit in order to produce an effective website that will attract business.

STEP 7: CEREMONY/AWARDS

Top 3 websites will be awarded during the awards ceremony in April 2021.

For participants whose websites are not selected as the Top 3, creating an online website at no cost will positively impact your business.

This is an opportunity to establish a working relationship with the student community that we are sure will be of great benefit to the business in the future.

This whole process requires a work scheme framed by mutual respect and maximum possible collaboration to obtain the expected results.
