MIRIAM A. ROSS, ESQ. 

Miriam A. Ross, Esq. is a business attorney, business advocate and community leader with extensive experience in industry, business law and compliance.  Miriam is the recipient of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2012 Women in Business, Champion of the Year for New England and Rhode Island. She is also an Achievement Honoree, 2012 Business Women Awards sponsored by Providence Business News. Miriam was voted Second Place for the best attorneys in the State of Rhode Island in the 2017 Providence Journal’s Reader’s Choice Awards and she has been nominated again for 2018 awards.

EDGAR MOYA

 

Edgar Moya is the founder of GM Communications Group LLC, an integrated marketing agency established in January 2018. Edgar and his team members have over 20 years of experience in Marketing. GMCG delivers successful results for advertisers and marketing partners, creates original content for TV, radio, digital platforms, and grassroots events.

Edgar has worked as an Account Executive at Telemundo New England helping local, regional, and national clients to connect with the fastest-growing segment, the Hispanic market. Edgar attended the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, as well as an Associate Degree in marketing from Community College of RI.

In addition to being a marketing consultant, Edgar has been the treasurer of the Puerto Rican Professional Association of Rhode Island and volunteered for other non-profit organizations.

DOTAN TAMIR

 

Dotan is a tech enthusiast and entrepreneur. He Co-Founded and served as CEO of BIG IDEA for 13 years, where he built life-changing educational experiences in Israel and abroad.
Recently, he has set his mission to disrupt the enrichment education world, and co-founded Clickto - a platform for virtual enrichment programs.

Alyssa M. Giron-Peralta

 

Alyssa M. Giron-Peralta is a Senior Sales and Marketing Specialist for Gilbane Building Company, a construction and facilities management firm. She has been in the construction industry since 2011 and has held various roles in the Global Sales and Marketing Services (GSMS) department at Gilbane. During her career she has provided support in campaign management, rebranding efforts, graphic/web design, internal and external communications, event planning, and company merchandising. Alyssa managed Gilbane’s national tradeshows/conferences for five years and helped streamline the coordination process by aligning proper resources, identifying and implementing new systems, and tracking ROI for future planning. Alyssa also manages Gilbanes promotional/apparel and print e-commerce sites. She serves as the company’s brand ambassador and works with the vendors and employees to ensure branded items are within Gilbane’s brand and quality standards.
 
Alyssa received her bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Salve Regina
University in Rhode Island and a master’s in business administration (MBA) degree
from Providence College in Rhode Island.
 
Alyssa is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and a
member of HOL@, Gilbane’s Hispanic Employee Resource Group (ERG).

Carmen

 

Carmen Diaz-Jusino is the Vice President, Community Development Officer for BankNewport. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering many strategic aspects of the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act Program, through banking relationships with community-based, charitable, and non-profit organizations. She is also responsible for establishing opportunities to meet the lending needs for low and moderate-income communities, businesses, and customers.

 

Before joining BankNewport, Carmen was the Strategic Initiative Officer/Economic Security at the Rhode Island Foundation. She formerly served in numerous roles over 12 years at the Center for Women & Enterprise, Inc., including Vice-President of Programs & Community Development.

 

Carmen lives in Providence with her husband Luis, and they enjoy being “empty nesters”. They have two adult children, Kenneth and GianKarlos. In their free time, they like to take short road trips, trying new recipes, and attend music concerts.
