On February 24th, the students had another exciting and informative Wix ADI website training on the ClickTo platform!
Avi stressed the importance of using good, ol’ Microsoft Word as a template for draft work and to keep in mind the name of the assigned business, location, email, telephone number, description of services, about section and story of the business that will be assigned to each student. Ultimately, nothing should be too fancy—simple, but effective, stressed Avi.
Veronica kicked off the rest of the training. Veronica focused on using tabs (About, Services, Contact Information, Testimonials), to deduce the best template based on the industry (e.g. visual for a photographer), explained how to edit the home screen picture, fonts, subtitles and tagline, emphasized to get into the habit of always clicking the preview button to save work, showed how to view the pages in desktop/mobile view as shown in a previous training, demonstrated how to add a map, manage pages and to add social media buttons, add bookings and a checkout. Veronica also showed how to play around with colors!
