Rhode Island Commerce Chafee Center announces virtual trade mission to Israel March 2021
VIRTUAL BUSINESS MISSION TO ISRAEL 2021
Mission Background
Israel offers many business opportunities for Rhode Island companies. Israel’s R&D labs have an ongoing need for specialty components; a need that Rhode Island’s manufacturers are uniquely positioned to fulfill as many of the Rhode Island companies, components and specialty manufacturers,
Israel’s demand for top-quality consumer goods has grown along with its economy. Israelis have a great respect for American-made products, which they actively seek to purchase. While trade agreements make it virtually effortless to enter the Israeli market from a financial standpoint, it can be a daunting challenge to make connections and forge partnerships in a new country, and that’s where joining the mission will cut this effort to a minimum and will lead to results in a much shorter time.
With experience in both Rhode Island and Israel in collaboration with Israeli government, institutions, chambers of commerce and academic institutions, the RIIC has the resources to connect local companies to new opportunities in Israel. This effort will be done in conjunction with Rhode Island Commerce Chafee Center, Chamber of Commerce, Manufacture Association, and others. As Rhode Island’s representative to the BIRD Foundation, the RIIC is also able to help multiple local companies secure BIRD funding in amounts up to $1 million.
If you are a Rhode Island company or an academic institution and you would like to participate in this mission, please contact us for more details.
